The Prophetic INNOVATIon Centre Branch
Social Responsibility
For over 4 decades, our ministry has supported local grassroots community growth, to find solutions to the economic, critical development points in underserved communities. While cities are the hubs of innovation and opportunity, the increasing pace of urbanization also exacerbates inequality, stresses infrastructure and environmental problems.
The urgency to address growing urban challenges requires diverse partnerships beyond the usual.
In this time of unprecedented threats, it’s often hard to know the best way to get involved. That’s why we’re connecting local faith-driven churches & businesses, with community organizations and neighborhood influencers, to act on the most pressing issues facing the world today.
ISSUES WE CARE ABOUT
human RIGHTS & DIGNITY
We are committed to honoring the rights of all people to live with liberty, security, self-esteem, and freedom of respectful expression; and to have the opportunity to provide for their own needs, as well as contribute to society. We stand firmly in support of our staff, partners, and local community. We recognize it’s essential for us to continue to learn, grow, and dedicate resources towards empowering change in the way people are treated.
PEOPLE. MATTER. PERIOD.
SOCIAL Value
Everyone deserves equal economic and social opportunities; in using resources in some way—opportunities that are a group of actions that will create a set of circumstances that make it possible to pursue and produce. Social Opportunities-are chances for people to improve their quality of life!
We aim to open the doors of access and opportunity for everyone, particularly those in greatest need. We are committed to achieving equity and opportunity for communities across local communities, which have been historically marginalized, recognizing that this enables individuals, families, and communities to thrive.
LOCAL ECONOMIC GROWTH
We aim to use the resources we have—our voice, our business and our community; to do something about economic development crisis in underserved, socially marginalized communities and neighborhoods.
We envision an increase in the production of goods and services in our neighborhoods, with increases in goods, a prepared labor force, technology, and human capital.
Churches, CDCs and faith-focused organizations interested in neighborhood and community development, may increase their effectiveness by partnering with existing businesses, rather than by sponsoring projects independently.
Faith-based organizations are uniquely positioned to have a significant impact beyond simply showing up at a building, and implementing tiny fundraisers.
