doing good together!
The notion that communities of faith, should confine their concerns only to spiritual matters is nonsensical!
Better communities better world
For many, living their faith, means aiding the poor–not only by feeding them in soup kitchens or bringing them to homeless shelters, but by restoring their neighborhoods to an active and fresh condition .
All across the country, churches, and interfaith coalitions are channeling their energies into programs that do more than provide band-aids for the problems of poverty.
They are illustrating how, deeply held religious values can be a powerful force for change.
Kingdom-driven economic development, occurs when community economic development becomes an integral part of the ministry of a faith-based, kingdom-minded congregation.
Our focus is to expand opportunities in economically developing neighborhoods by collaborating with local stakeholders to reduce neighborhood blight, encourage entrepreneurship, and enhance quality of life in urban communities.
Kingdom-driven community economic development may be defined as the involvement of faith-based institutions in projects designed to revitalize their communities, establish sustainable economic development initiatives, attract investments, build wealth, and encourage entrepreneurship.
In order to launch community projects, faith-based institutions often form joint-ventures with other Kingdom, faith-driven organizations.

a Kingdom Blueprint—was put in place by our corporate Office of Corporate Social Responsibility—our faith-driven business partner.
This project is our model of how effective joint-ventures can be created between faith-driven businesses, church communities, and local neighborhood & community stakeholders.

The mainstream news media, almost always—frequently report examples of *traditional economic development.
Churches, ministries and faith-driven influencers, and business, must make a special effort and be willing to do more than is required, to achieve its divine purpose!
In addition to providing various social services, the church and kingdom-driven organizations and individuals, must become the forerunner of economic development efforts in their local communities.
One major project could be rehabilitating boarded-up storefronts in its community. These storefronts can house travel agencies, medical and legal professional offices, barber shops, restaurants, home-care agency and preschools.
Remember the biblical mandate:
(2 Cor. 6:14)
Do not make mismatched alliances with unbelievers, (includes “unbelieving” believers), that is inconsistent with Kingdom truth & faith.
For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
