2021 New Year New Promises

We are now leaving 2020...to embark upon a new year and new opportunities to represent God’s Kingdom here on this earth. Our aim is to fully embrace and live the principles and values that have guided us throughout 2020.

Many of us started 2020, trapped in our habits, life routines, worldly traditions, ideas, conveniences and patterns that limited our effectiveness.

ENTER…the unexpected and unwanted Covid-19 virus that has shaken up our settled lives and rattle our underlying presumptions. The virus has introduced new stresses, anxieties and exposed new personal challenges.

This COVID-19 intrusion has left us realiZing that we are less in control of our world than we might have thought we were.

We have lost significant ones, and significant things as a result of this crisis. To lose a loved one, our employment, or to have our financial security reduced and our mental health shaken can be pretty awful.

ENTER…the killing of George Floyd and other murders, police brutality and racial unrest. These situations have caused the light to be shone on scrupulous people and their character.

God in his grace, has given us time to re-engage with him. He has shaken us and bought us back to His divine life again. We’ve been given the chance to reassess our lives in the light of the future. We now have more time to reflect on how our lives are working out, and about rediscovering our relationship with God. Those who do not know Jesus are discovering the value of not only knowing Him, but being secure in him.

We're on our way to the land of promise; a land not defined by any geographical location, but a land as defined by His promises.

Our future is bright, our hope is greater…and those who have survived the shaking of Covid 19, racial unrest and injustices, have a New Year is open to us!
