Image is…Everything!
Everything flows thru “image!”
In fashion, movies, and marketing, image is everything.
Did you know that image is everything, in the Bible, too??
In Genesis, God created humankind, in His “likeness", according to His “image!” Mankind, as we know it, is not patterned after another human…he is patterned…after God.
He—mankind, and he alone, (not animals or plants), uniquely mirrors, and resembles, God. Like a son who acts like his father, and follows in his father's footsteps, our God created a world and humankind to display the “glory” of who He is.
Adam and Eve, who were supposed to image God's character, didn't. Neither did the people of Israel. So God sent his Son Jesus Christ, to visual representation of his holy and loving character, to remove the wrath of God against the sins of the world, and to display God!
Now His church, His body of faithful, active believers-(not those that just go to church), has been granted the life of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, is called to display the “character” and “glory” of God to all the universe, testifying in “word and action” to his great “wisdom” and work of preservation.
So if you want to know what happens next?
Just know it will not be “Church nor ‘Christianity’ as usual,” but what will happen, is a quick, strong movement, back to the sustainability and foundation to which our world, was designed and built upon—God’s Vision and Principles.
Kingdom Ambassadors—those of who are so many…what are we to do now??
The world as we have known has crumbled into waste lands and now our world is positioned for God’s Restoration! Our eyes are now fixed on God’s next move and commands!
The restoration of the God-kind of life will have to begin like this…
We are to display the character, image and glory of the Son and Father in heaven!
We are to be the peacemakers, (not the hell-raisers.) Rebels will now be dealt with by the authority of the Kingdom of God.
We are to love-(not lust masquerading as love!)—there is a difference!!
We are not to become anyone’s victim or whipping boy, but with wisdom and power, we are to represent the powerful Kingdom of God as His ambassadors! The baton has been passed down again….not to a wicked and perverted generation, but to those righteous ones—called by the Almighty God!
We must continue to grow up in Him (mature, responsible and committed).
We must partner together, (as one system)…with Him.
and…You must be “born-again”—cleansed of your sin nature and granted—a born-again heart (as a new creation), by the work of the Spirit, and “restored”-into the perfect image of our God.
Church, Faith and being a Christian—summed up?
…now, through His “true church”, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in “every” realm, according to
God’s eternal purpose!
The greatness of our lives is not in what we leave behind, but in what we send forward!
