Law-Abiding Citizens

Someone who is law-abiding, obeys and respects laws!

In the United States, it seems like we have laws, rules, and regulations to oversee just about everything.

We don’t always like these rules, since they often mean that someone is telling us what to do, or keeping us from doing what we want.

Yet to live in a civil society, we must have some rules to follow.

Laws protect our general safety, and ensure our rights as citizens against abuses by other people, by organizations, and by the government itself.

Shouldn’t it stand to reason that the El Shaddai, the God of the whole universe can and will do, exceedingly, abundantly, above and beyond anything our civil laws can do?!

After all—the earth belong to Him and is His creation. I believe He can handle and manage all the chaotic affairs happening now or in the future! Fear Not!

Jesus said “ I am the true vine; Father God is the gardener.” He cuts off every branch that bears no fruit, while every branch on the vine that does bear fruit, He prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.

You are the branches. Remain connected to the true vine, as He will also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Him. If a man remain in Him and allow Him to live in them, he will bear much fruit; for apart from Him we can do nothing.

John 15:5

If anyone does not remain in Him, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.

If you will accept and act in accordance with the Kingdom my set of principles; and also, remain stable and fixed in a state, faithful to them…you can ask whatever you will, and it will be given …you.

If you:

• adhere to

• comply with

• conform to

• follow

• continue in, without change

  Then you can ask God for whatever you wish—and it will be given you!
  

In your abiding…you become a true follower and student, who applies what he has learned and will bear much fruit in every endeavor.

This position of being a disciple of Christ and His Kingdom, does not come simply and only by osmosis (unconscious assimilation or absorption), without any conscious effort on our part! We must live in His set of laws, and then walk them out!
