Let’s Talk Infidelity!

Let’s talk Infidelity…spiritual infidelity, that is…

God compares the actions of His people to a prostitute…

when you turn from worshipping Him to worshipping things, and idolizing people.

When you do, your faith becomes worthless, impure and diluted.

Spiritual infidelity (corruption)—outward or inward, is considered Idolatry…when you break your commitment to Him, in order to completely commit to and desire something or someone else—to meet your “need!”

Jesus described the people of His day, as adulterous, infidels, corrupt (including leaders)—even though they were considered “religiously strict.”

Today is no different!!

Even though they were warned, they continued to sin by breaking the covenant (agreement) between themselves and Father God.

Today, if we break a contractual agreement-such as a rental contract, or a purchase agreement for a car—there will be consequences. We all know how it works!

The final decision rendered, will not be based on how we feel, the “ought-too’s”, how it seems to you, nor any other suppositions.

The final judgement will be adjudicated according to the agreement that was made.

God’s laws of governance, are no different! Not hard to understand at all!!

He does His part and He expects us to honor our commitment to Him as promised.

So believers must stop with the exaggerated reactions of blaming and defaming others, simply because they refuse to acquiesce to pretentious religion, spiritual infidelity and corrupt entanglements.

We all have the choice of free will—we all, do exactly what we “want” to; as well as what we “don’t want” to! God will not violate that “free will”, and nobody else can either! We are accountable!

We have promised Him, that if He comes into our life and restore it, (salvation), that we would respect Him and that He alone would be our “God,” and we would become His people-loyal only to Him and His mandates!

Biblical References:
Isaiah 1:19-20

“If you be willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the land, but if you refuse and rebel, you will be destroyed completely, with the sword, which represents the Word of God—devoured off the good land, to which He has bought you: for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.

Luke 22:19-20

The New Covenant, is based on faith in the shed blood of Christ to take away sin, not on repeated sacrifices, or any other kind of work.

Covenant is the legal contract, that God makes with those whose hearts believe in His Son—Jesus Christ, who defeated death by His resurrection and restored life for those who believe in Him. He promised to forgive sin and restore communion and abundant life.

1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation will ever overtake you, that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with each temptation, he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Our God has already made a way of escape!

Have your faith become impure and watered down?

Ask Jesus to restore you. 🙏🏽 Let us all be prayerful!
