The Boldness of a Lioness
From the Prophetess’ Chamber
The place of kavod—where respect for Jehovah Elohim makes a world of difference!
God has raised up a new breed of apostolic pioneers who have been conditioned by the word, the spirit of God, prayer, worship and warfare!
Yes,—warfare! Spiritual warfare is the inward, outward, offensive war fights, that we face against the enemies of God. These enemies include Satan, demons—and sin—which can be lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, and/or pride of life (Ephesians 6:12).
Though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, “for the weapons of our “warfare” are not carnal, (merely human), but mighty, to the pulling down of strongholds! Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge (wisdom),of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.
This week in my study and meditation of the word, my glance fell on this scripture in Proverbs 28:1—"The Righteous are Bold as a Lion.”
As I was persistent in my study for deeper meaning, I received a new prophetic insight from the spirit of God! So I checked it out further. Many times as believers—if you are bold, the perception of those who may be easily intimidated, is that you are being unloving. Intimidation has its roots in a lack of self esteem; and lack of self esteem comes from not knowing your worth and value. The word of God has already defined for us, who we are, and how we are to handle situations! If you are not doing that, you are judging unrighteously, and not according to righteous judgment and spiritual discernment that is dictated in the plan for salvation!
Many times those judgmental types are full of fear and not bible faith, and are those who feel inferior. It is because of the insecurities, lack of confidence, poor self-esteem, and high anxiety levels in their own life, that they judge your level of confidence, as being in error.
Well, the word of God has declared that “if” you are the righteousness of God…one of the major characteristic of that righteousness, is that YOU WILL BE BOLD! “Anything that is not of faith is determined SIN,” according to the word of life! Your journey then becomes tedious; and you become mentally unstable, a heretic, a dissenter—having an opinion that is opposite and against the official word from the scriptures!
Being L i o n-B o l d, you will speak out and take action, in spite of fear or uncertainty. Isn’t that exactly the definition of having faith in God?! According to the living word—we are “victors—not “victims” to anyone or any situation, that attempts to destroy, obliterate and bind us with its strongholds! Victory does not come to the timid!
What makes a Lion bold?
The way he opens his mouth and roars is bold. A lion's teeth and claws look bold. Everything on the outside of a lion seems bold; yet what really makes a lion bold is not what he looks like on the outside but who he is on the inside. It's not his mane, teeth, or claws that make him bold; it is his heart!
Jesus is often referred to as the Lion of Judah. This symbolizes His power, strength, royalty, and role as the Messiah and King of Kings. It also represents His bravery, nobility, courage, agility, (ability to think and *understand quickly), and dignity; being worthy of honor or respect. Jesus's role as the Lion of Judah is linked to our destiny as a people. As God’s righteous ones, we are mandated to be bold as the mighty Lion! Fear has no place in the people who confidently trust in and have the proper perspective and response to the Lord!
Lions are large, powerful cats that are second in size only to tigers. They (1) rule over their territories, with their powerful physique and unmatched strength! They are (2) strategic hunters that (3) don't concede territory to other animals. They are considered (4) "fearless and mighty” among the other “beasts!” They do not turn back! WHY?? Because of their strength, hunting skills, fearlessness and role as a symbol of kingship and taking possession by force, if they have to!
Proverbs 30:30 says that the lion, which is mightiest among beasts and does not retreat (turn back) before “any" and is an animal which is not hunted by any other animal. Verse 29–31 says," there are three things that are “stately in their stride,” four that move with stately bearing— a lion, mighty among beasts, who retreats before nothing; a strutting rooster, a he-goat, and a secure king—secure against revolt," which is the ideal image of a LEADER—one who is calm, controlled, and reassured in their God! For in this, the Lord is well-pleased!
