The Hidden Enemy of High Achievers
FROM THE PROPHETESS CHAMBER
—the place where I meet, encounter, draw strength and clarity, and shift the heavens, in partnership with the Word of the “LIVING” GOD of the Bible…
Several weeks ago as I was outside watering the plants in my garden; God showed me a vision of a large snake that had positioned himself to strike, as I was backing up to get more water coverage, along the fence.
I immediately stepped away to go get my shovel to chop him into, but soon realized that he was a big-g-g one and that I needed my machete’ to take that one down! When I retrieved the knife and went looking for him—he was gone!
I really was angry, because I knew that a snake had no business in my arena! I was going to destroy him because he didn’t appear to be this harmless and “just sunning,” animal that many call—innocent, but rather, he was in the “strike” position.
Then I realized that God was trying to show me something. For he knows that I take no prisoners when under threat! I had not come bothering him in his environment, and he had no business invading mine!
So without hesitation, I went Women King on him!! It is in my DNA! I do not play with snakes of any kind. (naturally nor spiritually) Now in the scriptures, the snake is symbolic of Satan; and he had come prowling in my realm of authority to make me afraid! I remembered that the Word of God says that the only reason a devil shows up—is to steal, kill, or to destroy. At that moment, it was going to be him or me; and it wasn’t going to be me!
Well I didn’t have to run to ask what anybody thought, nor call prayer partners, nor pray about it! I simply went into action! I always try to keep “oil” in my lamp and I don’t ask questions as to what I need to do about a threat! Conquer it!
Now today, while doing a more intense study on what God had shown me—again , He said:
“Expect that a snake will always be in the grass”—that meant to me that I must always have the impression of the fact that a “snake” will always show up!
Hmmmm???💭💭💭🤔🤔🤔
Then I ran across these verses in Proverbs 26:
It first started taking about the mark of a “fool, a sluggard, and a snake! WOW! God compares a fool, a sluggard and a “snake in the grass!” in the same category, and their characteristics are intertwined!
What was daddy God’s perspective concerning these three wicked spirits? That they do not come to bless, to partner with you, nor are they your strategic partners!
Check it out: Proverbs 26:
“Though their speech is charming, do not believe them, for seven abominations fill their hearts.”
A "hidden enemy" is someone who is acting against you or your interests without your knowledge or awareness. They are haters, and they put on false appearances. They conceal facts, intentions, or feelings under some pretense with their lips, and lays up deceit within them. When they speak—believe them not…
They flatter with their lips, pretends to have great kindness and favor towards you, expresses themselves in a very gracious and amiable manner; in order to gain attention and respect; or when they pretend to be submissive with great humility; or they act in a mournful and pitiful strain, as if they have the most tender affection and concern for you;… do not allow yourselves to be imposed upon by them; be on your guard, do not trust them; for the most part, you are to doubt their genuineness , and do not forget that if you are a High Kingdom Achiever, there will always be a “snake in the grass.”
It can be difficult to recognize your hidden enemy, but some signs may include consistently negative or deceitful behavior towards you, gossip or spreading rumors, or a lack of support or encouragement.
To tackle hidden enemies, it's important to first identify who they are. This may involve observing patterns of behavior. Once you have identified the hidden enemy, you can decide how to best handle the situation. This can vary depending on the circumstances, but some possible strategies may include confronting the person directly, setting boundaries, seeking support from others, or avoiding the person altogether if possible. It's important to prioritize your own safety and well-being when dealing with hidden enemies.
These “snakes” have several abominations in their heart; a multitude of wicked purposes, schemes, and designs, which they will attempt to form against you, and which they plan to wait for the proper time to put in execution; things which are all an abominable to God and men.
“Fools,” like snakes, are not fit to be trusted either, nor to have any honor. Like a dog , they are a loathsome emblem of those who return to their vices. (backslidden) We see many like this, who have so little common sense, yet wear it like a badge of honor, as something to be proud of ! They think that their spiritual state is good, when really it is very bad. They are slothful, and hate every thing that requires care and labor, including being slothful in the duties of their own salvation.
In the same category of “snakes in the grass,” there is what is referred to as the sluggard, (once you can roust out of bed), for he is unlikely to bring to pass anything productive in partnering with you, even less in his own work. It is very common for sluggards, to pretend they do not understand or cannot understand responsibility. This is what the word calls—wicked and unprofitable servant!
A wicked heart disguising itself, as “good,” is like broken pottery; insignificant and worthless. Every creature must be dealt with according to its nature, but careless and wasteful, licentious people, never will be ruled by reason and persuasion. Their malice may be concealed by deception, but their wickedness will be exposed in the assembly of true believers.
Again, be very aware that there will always be a “snake in the grass,” lurking, trying to create chaos by attacking the God-given order; and their tactics have not changed for over two thousand years.
As the world continues to degenerate spiritually, Believers need more than ever, to function within the biblical parameters God has established for them.
Heed the Word of God, and stand with integrity for what is right. The Lord is with you!
