The Ultimate Offer

Weeks ago I talked about the shifting of the wind (ruach) of God. God's ruach, is the source of life, His spirit—and God uses it to create and renew life. The shifting of the wind of God signifies a spiritual renewal or revival, where the Holy Spirit is expected to powerfully work, bringing about transformation and renewal in people's lives, and marked by a heightened sense of His presence and increased authentic faith, across communities.

For the past year, many church people are seen traveling extensively throughout the nations, visiting different regions and locations, and are presenting themselves as prophets, and worship tour groups who are lifting up the name of Jesus. They purports to having prophetic messages and are saying they are drawing people closer to GOD through conference meetings and their tours.

My heightened prophetic discernment was supercharged by the spirit of Jesus however, to see that so many of these individuals, who say they are “on assignment,” but instead of making disciples, are making converts instead; and have based their religious intent, for all the traveling, by saying God has open doors and have sent them to communicate prophetic messages to their audiences; but it seems as if this may not be the case, based on my further examination of scriptures!

Discipleship is the process of helping people grow in their faith and become disciples, who follow the life and teachings of Jesus and have committed, their hearts and minds to follow the thinking and conduct of the Lord. While “converts” are perhaps church goers who follow doctrines and denominations, live like the world, are filled with pride and void of love. Pharisees! Jesus said to make disciples, not to convert people over to how we think about things. To do so is merely a call to producing knowledge-filled, unscriptural warm-bodies, for our seminaries or for our ministries.

Christ-followers (disciples), are to offer themselves as living sacrifices to God, by surrendering to him completely and live in a way that pleases Him. We are warned to not be conformed or shaped by the world. Instead, we should be transformed by renewing our minds with God’s way.

Worship should highlight God and His presence, and His drawing power of salvation to the masses.

(The word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword” and can distinguish between right and wrong, intent, and reveal our innermost thoughts and desires. (Hebrews 4:12).

Well, the wind of God has indeed shifted—many have been seduced by wrong, religious alignments, that are operating outside the ways of the Lord; and are now being called back into the presence of God to be realigned back to His blueprint; in Ministry as well as prophetic leaders in the marketplace! Realignment is a transformation; it's the death of many values, behaviors, and attitudes contrary to God's will.
For example, about every 3-4 weeks, I receive either an email or a letter, from a podcaster, book promoter, conference platform or to be featured on some Christian business magazine as an, “influencer.” I respectfully decline most of them.

For many of them, God showed me motive and discernment and I knew to decline the offer! For others, God timing and my schedule, did not line up to their agenda. I allow God’s wisdom to control my decisions! The mind of Christ should rule every decision you make concerning being part of these “assignments.” We are not to align ourselves with any ungodly path to greed, egotism and vainglory!

They may be very pleasant when giving you “the offer,” but when it comes to the things of God, and you engage them in spiritual conversation, you find so many of them are at odds with what the Bible teaches.

I’m very clear as to my prophetic office, my calling, who I am and who my God and my Lord and savior is!

All the opportunities and benefits of my personal, professional and Kingdom life, will be things that Jesus has orchestrated; not those from people who want to either corrupt the prophetic anointing on my life, or want to exploit the power, favor, and unique wisdom that is upon my life.

People may be pure in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their motives.
As I commit my actions to the Lord, my plans will succeed.
Proverbs 16:2-3

About six (6) months into my salvation; the Lord Jesus used me to shift the cultural religious norms, in a local township. I spoke the word of the Lord over that city and corrected the bondage where women were concerned.

Another time, I was cleared for entry, not only into women’s prisons to declare the “year of liberty” to the captives, and also cleared for entry into a male prison hospital when all the “religious dignitaries,” were denied access! The Lord has graced me to be able to casts out devils of depression and suicide from people that He sent to me in my business, and also while working in corporate America for a local doctors office, as benefit administrator. Once, when a patient got completely free when I gave her prophetic wisdom, she ended up tooting my horn to the directors who in turn were upset because their revenue was being messed with! She had given me a good review, and went and cancelled her appt because as she put it—I don’t need it anymore after talking to Ms. D!

I was written up for proselytizing, and during the formal staff meeting with personnel directors, I reminded them that NC laws, not only spoke of racism as reason for a legal lawsuit, but so was unwelcome rebuttal based on a person's religious beliefs; and that if a staff member could continuously invade my workspace with constant porn stories and dirty jokes, after I had politely asked her not to; then she should be disciplined too. Yet they did nothing when it was reported. Needless to say, I stood my ground and told them I would not work for a company who demanded submission to a rule designed for certain groups and not the other! I had sought the Lord in prayer the night before, and he instructed me to not bow to the pressure of made up retaliation. I wrote my resignation that night, and formally tendered my resignation, after making a purposeful statement, during the next days meeting, “effective immediately.” I then packed up my belongings and left that company, after being there for 8 years; and went into business for myself! I’m still that one…who will not compromise on what I believe!

Here’s the promises I still stand on:

Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own?
No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. Rom 8:33

There shall no man be able to stand before you, for the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the places that you walk upon, as he hath said unto you—No one shall be able to stand against you. (Deut. 11)

God will never say to my enemies, “that they've made a good point against me; and that He was wrong to justify that person.” His decision stands since it is based on Jesus' own sacrifice and His righteousness, not on our ability to do what is right ourselves.

So stop reneging on God!

Satan’s offer to Jesus was to give him the world in exchange for worship, with an offer of the kingdoms of the world. The devil said to him, "I will give you all this authority, and their glory, for it has been delivered to me; and I give it to whomever I want. (a lie) Jesus said, "Get away from me, Satan, I must worship the Lord my God and serve only him! Jesus' refusal of Satan's offer showed his triumph over Satan, and showed his adherence to the plan of salvation. That’s should be your response!

There is always the danger generally of pursuing something that appears to follow legitimate ends but by unrighteous means. The temptation to pious frauds, the suppression, misrepresentation, and the obscuring of the truth in the “supposed” interests of doing God’s assignments. Not all offers are stamped as Satan’s offer, but we had better be honest and sure that they radiate God’s purposes! Jesus didn't have to go along with Satan's ploy. He was offering Jesus something that ultimately was His. All things were placed in His hands, and He will continue to restore His creation and rule eternally as King.

Satan wants to offer us a quick and easy way to the good life, but he doesn’t tell us the full price. It’s usually a cheap imitation of the real, and far more costly, and will not last.

What will it profit a man to gain the world’s recognition, and lose your soul?
The offer of the Kingdom is the Ultimate one. No compromise!
