…will work for food?!

A Midday Business Moment-with Coach NardraV

SLAVERY was the first “will work for food” system, in which individuals got paid with food and lean-to’s (housing)...and not money!

So when they finally got money, they thought that money was just for spending and not for providing a safety net in times of emergencies and everyday living.

Therefore...it seems as if our work culture has no wise generational training about money, and many have become a culture of people that generally buy what they want and beg for what they need ! (oftentimes in the form of seeking handouts, freebies, pro bono services, and many times--grants).

Our cultural influences form our “worldview” and many times is why we make emotional spending choices (buying stuff to impress people), rather than making wise and reasonable choices.

For the most part, people live and spend, what and how they have seen their ancestors do!

Successful innovators, do not consistently make decisions out of their emotions.

They prioritize their decisions rather than make them strictly based on emotional and cultural influences.

Get your heart out of your decisions!!!

God wants you to maximize and value what He has given you!
Stop asking for more when you don’t value what He had already given you.
