HE DID IT TO ME…
…TO DO IT THROUGH ME!
The Holy Spirit did not come to replace people. He works through people.
So stop walking by yourself and being the Lone Ranger, find yourself someone who is filled with the spirit of God, and learn to partner with them— in spite of their humanness. We need each other to be who we were designed to be—in the body of believers, and in this world!
Just because you had a bad instance with a carnal christian, it doesn’t compare to what you can do with a God-connection! After all, one can chase a thousand hindrances; two can chase, at best-ten thousand, and your ability and power will be magnified in that partnership.
"When God gives you authority, you have to spend much time with Him, and listen diligently to Him, as well as do what He says to do!! When you do-He will guide you through how to handle your influence.
With this influence you are not only responsible for you and yours, but also for the people He has called and connected you to! Value that elevation and respect the fact that God has chosen you for this assignment!
Those, that are a part of our "God connection-are then expected to listen, respect and act accordingly, to the authority set by God.
Let’s be very clear. I am not talking about your 2,000 +connections on Facebook, nor your 500+ on LinkedIn! We may call them our friends, but what have their actions proven beyond a shadow of a doubt...that they are honest & sincere ones?
Friendship is not a title nor something we say-but a description of our actions. You should not give anyone the title of “friend,” that they can’t and won’t live up to!
As the H R manager for our business, when somebody comes into one of my job interviews, they don’t interview for a title, but they are interviewing for what’s in the the description of what we need for the position. I am certainly not going to offer the job, nor title, to an individual, unless they fit the description!
Even so, when determining our god-connections, we must look for friends that gives us space to make mistakes, and those who point out when our actions don’t match our statements. The friendship must mean that we both are moving towards the same thing-maturity. So many people are expecting a level of honest and sincere friendships, but are unwilling to give it.
(Prov 27:6) says, “Wounds from an honest friend, (one who keeps the mission first and thinks long term), and a sincere friend, (one who will hold you accountable, because your future may be on the line), who corrects out of love and concern, are better than many kisses of an enemy. ie…prefer to be wounded from somebody close to you because they tell you the truth, than to be hearing lies from people who are not in your circle of god-influence. I need people in my circle of influence who are committed to learning, growing and practicing, the correct partnership!
If you are stuck in a "superficial relationship with religion", and not a real relationship with Jesus- you have nothing to give, and you will never understand people's heart and motive towards you. You will always find fault! Because "you can't give people what you do not have!!!! "
My responsibility is to lift others and declare biblical truth that will destroy the strongholds, that hold people captive, from achieving everything in this life, that God promised! So when you have the real solution to modern social problems, you are not afraid to operate in your purpose!
How is it, that we have experienced the greatest answers and solutions given by Jesus Christ, to solve major issues in people's lives, and yet not tell anybody about them?! And how is it that you are part of my "connection," and you do not want to hear the solution that will bring somebody’s relief?!? (Mental, emotional, spiritual, & physical?) How can I see anyone struggling…have the solution, and yet sit back and watch them struggle? That is just refuting the whole premise of the Gospel and the Evangelism message.
"I'm just a sower, sowing the word into the hearts of many, and telling everybody about the somebody, who has all the solutions to whatever they are experiencing! Isn't that the premise of it all?! God will use me...the catalyst, to bring about the change, that He wants to do in other people's life!
He did it "to me--to do it "through me!
Our God, is just not blessing people just to be blessing, He is not narcissistic; He blesses our businesses, ordains schools & organizations, help us get degrees, homes, jobs, heals diseases, etc... He has a plan in every assignment and appointment of power, so that we can give back to communities to which we came from, and those that are not as fortunate; that our faith should not be in a man, but in His power.
Jesus is blunt to say the least. He says without Him—we can do nothing (of eternal significance)! Most people want to be successful in life, but this can have quite a different meaning for Christians, compared to those who reject, ignore or don’t believe in God. We may think we are so wonderful and able to do amazing things. We love to put on a show and then wait for the applause from our social media friends, and then we feel good about ourselves, but the sobering truth is that unless what we are doing is rooted in Christ, it’s just not going to have any eternal meaning or value. Sure, our good deeds will help others, bringing them some relief and even joy, but it’ll pass in the course of time.
He created us to produce after His own kind. When He does something in us He doesn't want it to stop.
Those reading this…Step into your purpose! There are people waiting on you to be who God called you to be! Too many people feel as though they have arrived. That's a problem! This is not just about Y•O • U •!! We are one body, and members within to do particular things. So show up and take someone with you!
