Fresh New Moves…

Your Future is Emerging—

Not everyone from previous “moves of God,” (even though they are considered “nice” people), can or will, cross over and take part in this Fresh, New Move of God.

The new moves are when God chooses to restore certain major truths, ministries and spiritual experiences that have not been active since the early years of the church.

And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh (…) (Acts 2:17)

God wants to move again, and He needs a lot of vessels. He is not trying to repeat the same thing; and because He does not fail—He does not repeat!

Do you have that "different, apostolic spirit" (to walk in the ways and teaching of Jesus the way the Apostles did) awakened within you? Are you "really" ready to emerge into your future—your own ‘promised’ land, even though you have experienced many challenges? Then, it will take having a "different spirit" to be able to enter your future.

Only Joshua and Caleb were able to enter their future—their Promised Land. they both had urged Israel to move on “in faith,” knowing God would prepare the way. They alone, returned from their mission with “a good report.”

The other spies’ reports were based on fear; they warned against entering into Canaan (promised land), because of the fearsome tribes dwelling there. They coerced Israel to not believe a word that God had promised—even though they had experienced prior, strategic Moves of God, on their behalf! Wow!

Joshua and Caleb led that next move of God.

Caleb,  still strong, still “young”—even at 85 years of age, shouted "Give Me My Mountain!"

We often speak of “mountains” as obstacles which must be overcomed. In this sense, there were still some mountains for Caleb to overcome before he could enjoy his land inheritance.

Caleb’s report:

The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good. If the LORD (Yahweh) is pleased with us, He will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us. Only do not rebel against the LORD. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will swallow them up. Their protection is gone, but the LORD is with us. Do not be afraid of them.'" (Numbers 14:7-9)

Notice the faith-filled attitude!

Joshua and Caleb urged Israel to move on in faith, knowing God would prepare the way. What made Joshua and Caleb act differently from the others? The answer is found in God’s words to Moses:

My servant Caleb…has a “different spirit” and has followed fully” (Numbers 14:24).

‘Different Spirit—fully obedient!’

They had a spirit of faithobedient faith, knowing that together, with God’s promise, they could conquer whatever was in that land because of God’s promise! They had seen the same giants and the same heavily fortified cities, but they were looking through lenses of faith. They “visioned” the God enabling them to conquer these people.

A lens is an object that allows us to see clearly. It is used to correct defects in our vision. Choosing the lens of faith is choosing life. Any other lens is inferior and produces bondage, not freedom. Sometimes you can't stop what happens to you, but the lens of faith keeps the life of God flowing through you.

god Faith sees only God promises
humanist sees only people promises

In the past 20 years in our world, there has been extreme gaps between the haves and have-nots— income inequality, real-estate fluctuations, racial inequalities and economic displacement, taxes, homelessness, poverty, and on and on... We need a “strategic move of God”—not another promise from a man who does not fear God!

The nation of Israel was willing to come out of bondage, but not willing to continue the dream of entering in, to the promised land- out of fear. Joshua and Caleb were "different" and ready for the New! The rest of Israel, died off in that previous move of God! The Lord then commanded the ten spies and 👉🏾all who agreed with them👈, this:

Turn tomorrow and set out for the wilderness by the way to the Red Sea.In other words, “You’ve chosen to go back to the “wilderness.” …and with that choice, Y-O-U, have “refused to inherit,” the land I promised you.” (Num. 14:25)

CLEAR MESSAGE HERE!!

If we do not seek to be of a “different spirit,” your choices will have an adverse affect on you, and your entire family and community! Your choice to wander in a wilderness of “moderated” faith (less intense, fear-based), doesn’t just hurt you, but also those around you. Even though God doesn’t charge them with our sins, they are deeply affected by our sinful choices.

If your only desire is to blend in with the crowd at church, then here is God’s response:

By your own choosing you have refused what I offer. Therefore, you will never inherit what I’ve promised you. You’re destined to wander in a wilderness that you have chosen for yourself.”

We must always "have that "different, apostolic spirit"(to walk in the ways and teaching of Jesus—the way the Apostles did), awakened within us. If you don't, you will get stuck and never “see” your emerging future—your Promised Land!
