The Twisting of the Truth
ONE OF THE CONSEQUENCES OF DISOBEDIENCE IS GOD’S “SILENCE.”
In a lot of instances and in many cases, when people have no word from God, they usually find a medium. By God’s divine law, mediums and spiritist are banned. These are persons who claims to communicate with the spirits of those who have died.
Many times when people in desperation, can not receive or hear from God, they seek wisdom from an occult source; sources that God himself has outlawed; this shows their hypocrisy and is an indication how far they had fallen from God’s grace.
King Saul’s encounter with the witch of Endor took place at the very end of his reign as king. The Philistines had arrayed themselves for battle against Israel, and Saul “was afraid, and terror filled his heart.” The Prophet Samuel was dead by this time, so Saul sought direction from the Lord through other means, “but the Lord did not answer him,” neither by dreams nor by the prophets.
Saul then sought the witch of Endor. This witch was likely expecting to hear from her own “familiar spirit” (a demon) during the séance, which explains her startled reaction to seeing the Prophet Samuel show up.
God condemns necromancy, channeling, and the work of mediums; and those who practiced such, were to be put to death.
Saul disguised himself and went to the witch as if God did not see or know him or what he was doing. Even the witch who supposedly had the true “power” did not recognize him until the Prophet Samuel showed up!
God however, allowed Samuel to return to pronounce a final judgment on the disobedient king.
Saul, who had refused to listen to Samuel when the Prophet was alive, sinfully sought a word from the Prophet Samuel after he was dead.
Samuel asked him—Why do you consult me, now that the Lord has departed from you and has become your enemy?
The story of the witch of Endor summoning Samuel does not imply that séances are effective in conjuring the dead, or that witches or mediums genuinely speak with the spirits of dead individuals.
When a person dies, his or her soul is taken to either heaven or hell. There is no wandering the earth, conveying messages to the living, or making return visits. (Lk. 16:19-31). Any claim of contact with departed loved ones is a demonic deception. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. (2 Corinthians 11:14)
He is an enemy of all that is good, and the titles used to describe him in the New Testament shows that his very nature is evil. And yet, he presents himself as a shining example of what is proper and correct.
Paul oftentimes spoke of the “false apostles” as those who would transform themselves into Apostles of Christ. They follow in form and style, with their leader Satan, in that they practice the twisting of the truth, the perversion of Scripture, and in attributing the works of wickedness—to that which is of God. And no wonder, because they are just like their leader Satan, who “transforms himself, into an angel of light.”
The term “angel of light” indicates purity and holiness. However, if he supposedly “transforms himself” into this, then it is a false representation of who he is. It is not his true nature, but it is a cunning disguise which is intended to lure the unsuspecting away from the truth.
It is incumbent on all who name the name of the Lord Jesus, that we study the word in order to show ourselves approved, when false teachers and devils comes with false messages. That is impossible without knowing the word!
The world is filled with cults, heresies, and those who follow after anyone with a crazy vision or a supposed “word from the Lord” which is no word at all!
That’s why someone gets viciously angry when they are encountered by a “true” Prophet or Prophetess; because those familiar spirits know that they will be cast out, and these lies and fallacies will be demolished.
Satan uses all of these avenues, and many, many more, to lure away precious souls from the grace of God, to another gospel, which is simply not the gospel at all.
Paul carefully warns us of such deception in Galatians 1 –6-9.
“I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel…
But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.
So rather than going around and listening to, receiving from everywhere, everybody and from everything—we are admonished by the holy scriptures to seek the “more sure word” which is the word of God. It never lies, but it does confirm truth!!!
There is absolutely no getting around it! We have a vital responsibility to study the word of God ourselves, and He will supply the wisdom and understanding for us to live by and be victorious!
So if you wonder why the sicknesses, the depression, the sadness, the defeated lifestyle, the poverty, the wickedness, the spiritual illiteracy and such like…which seems to never seems to go away from your family, from generations to generations—it is because you have sought answers from “another source” other than through His word!! God calls that disobedience!
Heaven is a reward to those who “believeth” on Him and His truths, (those who continue to believe, and live it out boldly and confidently); not a reward of one who “use-to believe!” Those who then adjust their life to reflect biblical truths, these will be the ones who will receive the benefit of a “heaven.” There are no shortcuts!
Don’t be deceived as Saul did, who disguised himself, yet the spirit of God still saw and knew him and unveiled him, and his decision to disobey! The witch expected one of her familiar spirits to manifest, but the real showed up!! That’s why she was shocked!! (SELAH)
How you ever had an expectation of one thing but God sent another? I certainly have!
So if you want to know why The Prophetess’ Study Chamber? (the place where I encounter God and receive His truth—it’s my actions of faith, by studying to show myself approved “unto God” and not man!
Follow my lead!!
The approval of God that shows up on an individual, in the form of an anointing, will get the job done, with a “visible” manifestation and the demonstration of His “glory,” Jumping around is not an indication of someone’s anointing or manifestation! Devils also dance around! The anointing however, will break the yokes—Forever!!
in His Light, you will receive more “light,”
——the symbol of holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, grace, hope, and God's revelation!
Authoritative Counsel: No man, nor any preacher, no matter what the platform or title, can assure any of us a future life. Obey the only one who does!! Neither should any of us be “peacocking” nor celebrating, nor taking any of the credit, as if we built anything! We have nothing, and we know nothing—without His sacrifice, wisdom, and amazing grace!
Remember…KAVOD the Lord—it’s His Honor! His Excellency—He it is, that gets All the GLORY! All the HONOR! (Selah)
Life application and Prayer:
To avoid being deceived by the devil, know your Bible. Pray and commit to this:
Lord God, Your word tells us that Satan is real and that he transforms himself into an angel of light to deceive us from the truth. And so in order to know if we are being deceived and tricked by satan, we have to know Your word!
Since this is a battle between good and evil and Your word gives us the framework for the conflict, then we would be disobedient, stubborn and rebellious, to not want to know and apply Your word to our lives. I submit to your truth and will apply it to my life and with your help, I will blossom, where I am planted!! So be it (Amen).
